Congratulations, Uncle Nathan!

He finally made it! After twelve years of schooling, our little brother/uncle/brother-in-law is stepping out into the world. Words cannot express how proud we are. We are looking forward to what the Lord is going to do in him and through him.

Nathan made Salutatorian (which is better than his brother ever did). His graduation was short and sweet and we had a great time celebrating his accomplishments.

How could we forget to place a large picture of his nephew with a large glob of drool running down his face?

We rarely get pictures of all three of us. We finally took one on Mother's Day.

These last two I just had to post. Don't think I'm a horrible mother letting him hang from our bed posts. Jon is on the other side of the post, you just can't see him in the picture. He's an adventure seeker. The more dangerous the action, the more he enjoys it. Hmmm...not good. Just look at that face!!! :)



I haven't posted in a while. I am trying to keep up with the blog but I've been horrible at it lately. Things are so busy. Adison is moving around so fast and he's only crawling. I can't imagine what life will be like once he starts walking. I imagine he won't walk much, mostly run! :) Well here are a few of the recent pictures we've taken of our handsome young boy. Enjoy! Outdoors Stuff

Last night our friends Jamie and JP came over to spend some time with us. We took Adison outside for a mini photo-shoot and here is what we were able to get...

Adison has been "practicing" his clapping quite a bit lately. I love it. Today he was taking a nap and he did it in his sleep. It was the cutest thing....


Once again, he's giving a beautiful smile....then...


We got him near the grass and he wasn't quite so happy. He cried anytime his feet or hands would touch the grass. Not much of an outdoors boy...yet.

This picture wasn't taken last night but the last time Jamie and JP were over here. Adison had on JP's boots! Don't know that Adison will ever wear boots that size!

Papa Spargo's Birthday

Clapping and Bye-Bye

Adison just started clapping this week and he waved bye-bye for the first time yesterday. He can really get into some of his bye-bye waves, it's quite cute! It's amazing how fast he's learning. Enjoy the videos!

Updates...Lots of Them!!!

I am so behind on my pictures. Adison keeps me busy so I have to wait until nap time to get much of anything done. No complaints though. I enjoy spending the day with my little boy. Every day home with him brings so much joy to my life. Here are the latest and greatest...



Happy 8 months, Adison!



Adison can pull up on just about anything. He's getting brave and letting go with one hand now, too! Won't be long until my baby is walking!


Almost 2 weeks ago we had some friends over for lunch, Michelle and her 2 beautiful daughters. Adison loved the company (as did I). He followed the older girl around the house and he gazed at the younger one (pictured above).


Adison has his first 2 teeth. He started getting tooth #1 around the beginning of March but it took forever to really come in good. The one next to it is on its way as well!


I never post Adison's "other" facial expressions so I thought I would today. He's upset with daddy for trying to look at his teeth. But can you blame him?


Adison is starting to eat baby food better now. He's also been able to try some of mommy and daddy's food too. He's a big fan of strawberries!!

We were so blessed to have my parents come down to spend Easter weekend with us. We really enjoyed their visit and hated to see them leave. We miss you guys already!


Adison went to meet Papaw outside when they arrived on Friday.


And finally, an Easter picture of the Spargo3. I realize Adison doesn't have on an "Easter outfit." I had one for him but didn't realize it was way too big for him until the morning of. Oh well, next year I'll be more prepared!
